Make Your Boring Time Interesting & Productive! Try Rearranging the Furniture!
If staying at home 24/7 is making you climb the walls or just using your creepy devices day & night, here’s something really as well as productive to do with your time. Spend enough time in your home and you may wonder why you decorated it the way you did. Even if your furniture arrangement has worked for years, it may no longer make sense for your present life, now that you’re stuck inside all day. But here’s the good news: Rethinking your space can offer a sense of control at a time when our lives are in upheaval.
Here comes some cool tips brought to you by Hometex Bangladesh if you wanna make your Home more stylish in your own sTyLe, during this lock-down period......
Measuring before you move- in the bedroom, there should ideally be at least 24 inches between the bed and the walls, so there’s enough space to comfortably make the bed (unless you have bunk beds, which are typically flush against a wall).
When it comes to furniture rearrangement, there are a few general rules. In the living room, the goal is to create a space where the furniture is close enough to be conducive to conversation, but far enough apart so people can easily walk around. Side tables should be within arm’s reach of seating. The coffee table should be roughly 14 to 18 inches from the sofa, so you don’t hit your shins when you stand up.
Choose a Focal Point- Never underestimate the power of a focal point in a room. Sometimes they appear naturally, such as if you have a prominent window or noisy area, while other times you may need to create them yourself, as with television or any other bulky devices or furniture like Wall Show-case, Almirah and so on. Whatever your chosen focal point, make a decision and stick with it. You’ll want to arrange furniture around it as much as possible
Vary the Heights- “Have something low and tall in every room,”. For example? Combine a low coffee table with a “painting that kisses the ceiling,”. To help move your eye through a space and add interest to a room, here’s a pro-tip: Make sure your furnishings aren’t all the same height.
Don't Push Furniture Against the Walls- The
size of the room will dictate how far you can pull your furniture away from the
walls, but even in a small space, you’ll want to give pieces a little breathing
room by allowing a few inches between the backs of furniture pieces and the
walls. Despite popular belief, this little bit of space can actually make rooms
feel bigger. Of course, if you have a larger space, feel free to arrange
furniture in such a way that conversation areas are created in the middle of
the room, leaving several feet between the walls and the furniture.
Have a Prayer Room FREE- More or less we all have that Drawing-attached-dinning room in our apart-mental flats, now-a-days. You can easily get a small prayer room there. What you have to do is just stretch your sofa & re-arrange side tables and get a prayer room for your family. Isn't it interesting?
